Imád­sá­gos al­kotás, bőr medál és matyó papucs - Május a Nyitott Műhely­ben

A virtuális Nyitott Műhely májusi vendége Kelemen Eszter Klára, bőrműves népi iparművész, szerzetes, akivel a többi közt az alkotás és az imádság viszonyáról és a bőr lábbelikről beszélgetett a Nyitott Műhely vezetője, Farkas Réka. És ha már Eszter kedvencei a szandálok és cipők, a Múzeumunkból is egy pár lábbelit válaszott, amit Réka, a tárgy készítőjének segítségével be is mutat. A matyó papucs és csizma különlegessége, hogy egy-egy antik darab szakasztott mása, rekonstruciója.

Az otthoni kézműveskedés sem marad el: Kelemen Easzter segítségével ezúttal bőr medált készíthet ki-ki otthon. Amire szükségünk lesz hozzá: némi bőr maradék, vonalzó, nagy lyukú tű, olló vagy sniccer, ragasztó és cérna.

Matyó papucs és csizma

A Magyar Népi Iparművészeti Múzeum gyűjteményében található papucs és csizma Kovács Attila, többszörösen díjazott népi iparművész cipőkészítő, csizmadia mester rekonstrukciója. A lábbelik eredetijéről, a rekonstruálás folyamatáról mesélt a Nyitott Műhely vezetőjének, Farkas Rékának.

Night of Mu­seums in the Hun­gari­an Her­it­age House

This year, too, the Hungarian Heritage House will open its doors on the Night of Museums. Here, the past will become an experience and tradition will take on new meaning. The Buda Vigadó building will be open for exploration from the attic to the cellar.
