A cigánytánc hagyományai

A Közelebb című roma magazin a 2024. július 22-i adásában egyetlen témával foglalkozott: a Hagyományok Háza Szabadegyetem sorozatának évadzáró eseményével, amelynek címe A cigánytánc hagyományai volt. 

A rendezvény különlegessége, hogy 28 év eltelte után először adott elő Magyarországon a Hollandiában élő, magyar etnográfus Dr. Balázs Gusztáv. A nagyecsedi származású táncos, koreográfus, pedagógus, tánckutató a cigánytáncok hagyományairól és jellegzetességeiről mesélt a Szabadegyetem júniusi eseményén.

Busós at the air­port

We are in the middle of the carnival season, and the Busójárás festival in Mohács is fast approaching, which will fill the city in southern Hungary with life for six days at the end of February. This folk custom, which marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring, will appear not only in Mohács this year, but also at the capital's airport.

Its primary goal is to make the entire process of traditional craft techniques and trades—from the initial preparation of materials to the completion of the finished object—visually accessible to a wide range of people interested in the profession, using digital tools.
