Mag­yarbe­ce, 1994.02.01.

Aktuális húsvéti ajánlónk a Nagyenyed vidéki népzene egyik legsokoldalúbb képviselőjére, a Népművészet Mestere díjjal is kitüntetett, magyarbecei Szántó Ferencre irányítja a figyelmet.

A földműves hagyományokba beleszületett Feri bácsi családjában nagyon erősen jelen volt a zene szeretete. 12 évesen hegedülni és furulyázni tanult, majd testvéreivel később zenekart alapítva és nagy zenei repertoárt megszerezve kivívta a falu és a környék megbecsülését: számos lakodalomban, bálban keresztelőn nyújtott zenei szolgáltatást.

A gyűjtést 1994.02.01-én a Téka együttes tagjai készítették Marosdécsén. Bár Szántó Ferenc többrétű előadó, ez alkalommal a furulyajátéka került középpontba. A felvétel érdekessége, hogy sikerült rögzíteni az egyik legszebb öreges csárdás dallamot, egy a Húsvét másodnapi szokásokhoz köthető szövegrésszel. Hallgassák szeretettel!

Night of Mu­seums in the Hun­gari­an Her­it­age House

Just gone fest­iv­alling

The festival season is in full swing, and our team is also joining the summer vacationers: the institution will be closed between July 28 and August 18, 2025.

Busós at the air­port

We are in the middle of the carnival season, and the Busójárás festival in Mohács is fast approaching, which will fill the city in southern Hungary with life for six days at the end of February. This folk custom, which marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring, will appear not only in Mohács this year, but also at the capital's airport.
