Bodor Mária a nevem, Gyimesfelsőlokon élek, harminckilenc éves vagyok, férjes és két gyermek édesanyja. Ápolónőként dolgozom.

Szomorú történetsorozat után született meg a gondolat bennem, hogy csángós bunda varrásnak-hímzésnek fogjak. 2018-ban elveszítettem a tizennyolc éves fiamat, és két hónapra rá az édesapámat is. Az ezek után következő idő nagy részét a lányomnak szenteltem, de az iskola őt elszólította bentlakásba, kilencedik osztályba.

Rám szakadt az idő. Többféleképpen próbáltam hasznossá tenni magam, de csak ez év februárjában született az elhatározás, hogy a csángós bunda varrásával-hímzésével megpróbálkozom.

Beleszerettem. A mának és a jövőnek maradandót adni kimondottan nagy élmény számomra. Újabb célt kapott az életem, folytatni kívánom ezt a munkát.

Night of Mu­seums in the Hun­gari­an Her­it­age House

This year, too, the Hungarian Heritage House will open its doors on the Night of Museums. Here, the past will become an experience and tradition will take on new meaning. The Buda Vigadó building will be open for exploration from the attic to the cellar.
 

Just gone fest­iv­alling

The festival season is in full swing, and our team is also joining the summer vacationers: the institution will be closed between July 28 and August 18, 2025.

Busós at the air­port

We are in the middle of the carnival season, and the Busójárás festival in Mohács is fast approaching, which will fill the city in southern Hungary with life for six days at the end of February. This folk custom, which marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring, will appear not only in Mohács this year, but also at the capital's airport.
