Fábián Éva

Népi ének tanár, énekes, mesemondó előadóművész.

Szekszárdon született, diplomáit a Budapesti Tanítóképző Főiskola óvó szakán és az Apor Vilmos Katolikus Főiskola népi gyermekjáték, néptáncpedagógus, hagyományismeret tanár szakán szerezte.

1975-ig a Tolna Megyei Bukovinai Székely Hagyományőrző csoportjának énekese, mesemondója majd a Kalamajka zenekar és az Egyszólam Zenekar énekes-gardonos mesemondója. 1978-ban az Országos „Röpülj páva” Hagyományőrző verseny különdíjasa a tolna megyei bukovinai székelyek 1. helyezettjeként, 1979-ben a Népművészet Ifjú Mestere, 2009-ben pedig Életfa-díjat, az Oktatási és Kulturális Minisztérium életmű-díját kapta meg.

1989-től mesemondó, 1999-től az Óbudai Népzene Iskola népi ének tanára, oktat továbbá a Liszt Ferenc Zeneművészeti Egyetemen, illetve folyamatosan hagyományos mesemondást tanít a Hagyományok Házában.

A Hagyományok Háza Találkozás a néphagyománnyal és a Rendhagyó Tánc- és Drámaóra rendszeres közreműködője, a Haladó népi ének tanfolyam oktatója.

A Népművészet Ifjú Mestere cím birtokosa, 2009-ben Életfa-díjat, majd az Oktatási és Kulturális Minisztérium életmű-díját kapja.

Night of Mu­seums in the Hun­gari­an Her­it­age House

This year, too, the Hungarian Heritage House will open its doors on the Night of Museums. Here, the past will become an experience and tradition will take on new meaning. The Buda Vigadó building will be open for exploration from the attic to the cellar.
 

Busós at the air­port

We are in the middle of the carnival season, and the Busójárás festival in Mohács is fast approaching, which will fill the city in southern Hungary with life for six days at the end of February. This folk custom, which marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring, will appear not only in Mohács this year, but also at the capital's airport.

Just gone fest­iv­alling

The festival season is in full swing, and our team is also joining the summer vacationers: the institution will be closed between July 28 and August 18, 2025.
