Education for kids

Children have always been active participants of traditional rural occasions in the Carpathian Basin. They had their own little world within adult culture: they had special children's dance occasions, children's holiday traditions and children's tasks at community events. The Hungarian Heritage House wishes to carry in this tradition by launching its "Kids and Youth Programs" series. Kids and youth activities include children's dance houses and folk handicraft workshops, complex interactive introductory programs to Hungarian folk tradition, contests for primary school and high school students as well as children's season tickets to performance series designed especially for younger people.
