Varga Norbert

Közművelődési szakember, folklórkutató, művészeti vezető, 1968-ban született, Füleken él. Néprajzi és közművelődési tevékenysége kapcsán három évtizede aktív részese a szlovákiai magyar folklórmozgalomnak. Fő kutatási területe a szlovákiai magyar néprajzi tájak prózai népköltészete, 368 szlovákiai magyarlakta településen végzett terepkutatást, munkája eddigi eredményei öt kötetben és öt DVD kiadványon kerültek összefoglalásra. Szakértő, dramaturg, illetve rendezői minőségben több néprajzi témájú dokumentumfilm elkészítésében vett részt, az Ipolyi Arnold Népmesemondó Verseny szakmai rendezője, a Szlovákiai Magyar Szövegfolklór Archívum létrehozója és szakmai felelőse. 2019-től a Nyitrai Konstantin Filozófus Egyetem Közép-európai Tanulmányok Karán megvalósuló Néphagyomány az oktatásban című kurzus szakmai vezetője. Jelenleg a Füleki Városi Művelődési Központ, a Hagyományok Háza Hálózat – Szlovákia és a Szlovákiai Magyar Művelődési Intézet munkatársa.

Folk Mu­sic and Folk Dance Camps in 2026

In the summer of 2026, numerous folk music and folk dance camps will once again welcome participants in the Carpathian Basin and the diaspora. The offerings include camps for children, youth, adults, and families. 

Night of Mu­seums in the Hun­gari­an Her­it­age House

This year, too, the Hungarian Heritage House will open its doors on the Night of Museums. Here, the past will become an experience and tradition will take on new meaning. The Buda Vigadó building will be open for exploration from the attic to the cellar.
