Choreographers in focus

In the Hungarian Heritage House performance series, we focus on the outstanding choreographers of folk dance on stage. In the first part of the evening, the emblematic choreographies of a now classic, indispensable creator in the history of stage dance will be presented, which have become timeless despite all kinds of social, cultural or even political influences of the given era. In the second part of the evening, we will present the works of a still active choreographer, which we hope will convincingly convey the development of stage folk dance art, the legal similarities and differences, the new questions dictated by our time and the current answers to them. In the "summoning" of the past and the present, the best amateur groups will take the stage in addition to the professional dance groups. After the presentation of the choreographies, we offer an opportunity to talk with the creators.
