At a new venue again this year, in the illustrious Skanzen of Nyíregyháza, in five yards, fifteen bands will take care of music, involving, amongst others, the Bazseva, Bürkös, Tükrös, Bakator and Khamoro Band, but the audience will also be awaited by dance and singing lessons, presentation of musical instruments, storytelling, handicrafts and a fair. The Meeting of Dance House Musicians of the Carpathian Basin, organized for the sixth time this year will provide an opportunity for informal gathering of friends, making new friends, discussing professional problems for the large faily of dance house musicians, while the public can gain an insight into their activities.
The wide public can be part of a full-day musical fair created with the participation of the orchestras, instrumental soloists and singers of the dance house movement that have been in operation for more than 40 years. On this day, the old buildings are coming alive, and almost even the walls are playing music, as in many houses, the invited bands and their students, their old masters and singers play music all day long.
