From Tools to Mastery

Our exhibition presents outstanding craft works of Hungarian Heritage House alumni from recent years. The exhibition features mid-term works of first and second year students, as well as selected thesis submissions. Furthermore, visitors may also view the finest works created at our playhouse and folk arts courses. We also provide an opportunity for the participants of our accredited courses to introduce their works. In addition to the course works from the two-year study programs, the grand exhibition also features furniture art, folk jewellery and costumes, contributing thus to a colourful spectacle.

Visitors of the exhibition may observe items of daily use, clothing, toys and other interesting objects that are based on cultural traditions, but still remaining useful in our contemporary world.

The present exhibition aims to present the rejuvenation of traditional objects through the works created at the craft courses of the Hungarian Heritage House, as well as to showcase the survival and ever-changing nature of folk traditions.
