Sebő Ferenc hosszú ideig állt munkakapcsolatban két lőrincrévi adatközlőjével: az énekes-táncos Karsai Zsigmonddal és a hegedűs Székely Zsigmonddal. Mindkettejük dallamait feldolgozta és kiegészítette a korábbi évtizedek gyűjtéseivel, így létrejött a térség népzenei monográfiája. A kiadvány java részét a két adatközlő dallamait tartalmazó kották adják, amelyeket a szerző tánctípusok szerint csoportosított, és gazdag jegyzetanyaggal látott el. A mellékelt hangfelvételek tanulmányozása lehetővé teszi a mai énekesek és hegedűsök számára, hogy maguk is autentikusan tudják megszólaltatni a dallamokat.

A könyv címlapján látható Pontozó című festményen magát örökítette meg táncosként a közelmúltban elhunyt sokoldalú művész, Karsai Zsigmond.

From Game to Mas­tery, 2026

The Hungarian Heritage Houses’ exhibition, titled “From Play to Mastery", presents the works of students who graduated from the 2024-2026 cohorts of the folk crafts vocational training programs.
