Martin György: A botoló tánc zenéje című könyv hangzó anyaga

A „botos nóta”, „botoló nóta”, „botvágású nóta” névváltozatok annak a táncnak a zenéjét jelölik a népi szóhasználatban, amely már régóta szinte kizárólagosan az északkelet-magyarországi cigányság sajátja. Martin György, a neves néptánckutató (1932–1983) életének egy jelentős szakaszát a botoló tánc és a hozzá tartozó tánczene feltárásának, felgyűjtésének és elmélyült vizsgálatának szentelte. Tudományos eredményeivel e téren gondolkodóba ejtette a néptánc- és népzenekutatás szakembereit, s ezen túlmenően hátrahagyott egy forrásértékű hagyatékot, botolónóta-gyűjteményének kottakéziratát.

Válogatásunk hangzó anyag Martin György: A botoló tánc zenéje című könyvéhez, de úgy állítottuk össze, hogy a nagyközönség számára is maradandó élménnyel szolgáljon.
