Lajtha László az ötvenes években nem taníthatott, külföldre nem engedte a hatalom, csak arra kapott lehetőséget, hogy gyűjtőmunkát folytasson. Ebben a munkában lett közvetlen munkatársa Erdélyi Zsuzsanna, aki a gyűjtések során a  szövegek rögzítését végezte.  A szakterületén jól ismert néprajzkutató saját „kockás füzetben” vezetett feljegyzései megelevenítik a komponista népzenegyűjtő körútjának állomásait. Az archív fotókkal illusztrált kötetben nemcsak Lajtha gondolatai, hanem személyes hangvételű beszélgetéseik is helyet kaptak, így valódi portrét kapunk erről a saját korában el nem ismert, de mára újra felfedezett nagy művészről és tudósról.

Busós at the air­port

We are in the middle of the carnival season, and the Busójárás festival in Mohács is fast approaching, which will fill the city in southern Hungary with life for six days at the end of February. This folk custom, which marks the end of winter and the arrival of spring, will appear not only in Mohács this year, but also at the capital's airport.

The festival season is in full swing, and our team is also joining the summer vacationers: the institution will be closed between July 28 and August 18, 2025.
